Our relationship with Phoenix began a few years ago when they provided protection for Dame Kelly Holmes as she started the BUPA Great North Run: since then they have taken on the security management of the 1300 capacity guest hospitality village at the finish and in 2009 took on a section of the race route, providing course management stewards. We have been impressed with the management systems they have in place, their approach to training and the overall service we have enjoyed.

Peterlee Town Council have worked with Phoenix Security now for over four years. They provide support for our under 18 youth events and play an important part in making sure they run smoothly and without any problems. I could highly recommend them to you for youth events, the staff are always friendly and have an excellent rapport with the young people which I personally think is extremely important to a successful event.

True North have worked with Phoenix for door security and alarm monitoring for almost two years and during that time we’ve been impressed with the professionalism and flexibility of the management and door supervisors. We need our door staff to be the first part of the customer service experience which Phoenix management and door teams really understand. During the uncertainty of the last 12 months we’ve been able to rely on Phoenix to supply us with great door staff, often at short notice. Since taking over the store, Phoenix have been a big part of the increase in popularity of the store, and our door personnel have been an essential part of our team in terms of serving and looking after our customers effectively. I have no doubt that without them I would not have been granted a 24/7 license so I have a lot to thank them for. William and his team are extremely professional, communicate effectively with me and react quickly to issues that may give cause to increasing/decreasing security in the store. They also work well with my managers and crew and are a comforting sight when they come on shift.

I have a very strong working relationship with Peter, the Phoenix area Manager, I work with Ellie and Joel week in, week out who do a superb job and are phenomenal not only being guards but also delivering customer service alongside myself and my team. The security teams supplied by Phoenix provide excellent security with a friendly and professional attitude for both traffic management and door security. I am able to book guards at short notice and shift pattern changes without any hassle, my needs for the business are always met. Myself and my staff feel very safe working alongside the Phoenix team.

As a hotelier new to the North East I spent time researching the right security company to use. Everyone without exception recommended Phoenix security. Not only the company but the personal attention Steve Howe, the MD gives to his customers. For me having access to the man responsible for driving the business is key to swift action if required. Since opening my hotel in June 2012 Phoenix have provided door supervisors three nights a week. They selected the appropriate personnel that represents the core values of my business. Phoenix provide documentation and the right training so you know the staff that phoenix employ have had the relevant legal training. On occasions I have required additional door staff and this was done within minutes. Recently my hotel was the subject of an animal rights protest and I required security support immediately, not only did I get it but it was handled professionally and in a manner that didn’t affect my guests.

Since leaving Newcastle I've taken Phoenix security with me, Birmingham The Cube, Manchester Innside Hotel then recently to London where they've been a great support during the Covid pandemic.
