Over the last 20 years, Phoenix Security has worked with the hotel industry’s biggest names, to provide and manage security. 

From the Hilton, Melia, Indigo, Copthorne, Motel One Hotels, to the Holiday Inn brands along with small independent hotels, we’ve provided security and fire wardens all across the UK, providing the highest standard security on their behalf.

We understand that hotel security is an extension of the overall customer service experience offered to guests, which is why all of our staff are trained in Customer Service NVQ Level 2 and are given additional training such as fire safety checks, vulnerable persons training along with counter terrorism ACT training.

Our team prides itself on communication skills, being proactive, respectful and able to resolve any situations in a calm, professional manner, doing so whilst appearing smart and presentable at all times.

Here at Phoenix Security, we have a pool of reliable and fully trained personnel who work to operate as an integral part of your front and back house team, and are equipped to deal with reception security needs, key management, guest safety and theft prevention.

How we do it

Our Phoenix Security Management Team will arrange a visit to complete a site survey and define the exact service you require. Once this is complete, we’ll conduct a risk assessment so that an efficient operational plan can be put into place.

  • As a hotelier new to the North East I spent time researching the right security company to use. Everyone without exception recommended Phoenix security. Not only the company but the personal attention Steve Howe, the MD gives to his customers. For me having access to the man responsible for driving the business is key to swift action if required. Since opening my hotel in June 2012 Phoenix have provided door supervisors three nights a week. They selected the appropriate personnel that represents the core values of my business. Phoenix provide documentation and the right training so you know the staff that phoenix employ have had the relevant legal training. On occasions I have required additional door staff and this was done within minutes. Recently my hotel was the subject of an animal rights protest and I required security support immediately, not only did I get it but it was handled professionally and in a manner that didn’t affect my guests.

    Since leaving Newcastle I've taken Phoenix security with me, Birmingham The Cube, Manchester Innside Hotel then recently to London where they've been a great support during the Covid pandemic.
